Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 Iron Navy Cilantro
The classic in new colors for spring 2021
OT's new collection has some highlights to offer. The popular Mexico 66 in particular has been given many new colors - Iron Navy Cilantro is one of them.
The Mexico 66 - formerly Limberup Mexico (also called Limber Leather) - was released as a running shoe in 1966 for the Olympic Games in Mexico City, which were held two years later. It was also the very first generation of Onitsuka Tiger Shoes with the Tiger Stripes (the later Asics strips).
With the relaunch of Onitsuka Tiger in 2001, the Limberup was renamed Mexico 66.
Since the Mexico is made of pleasantly soft leather, you will immediately feel good. After approx. 2 days it has finally snuggled into or adapted to almost every foot shape.

Turns out a little smaller - it's better to order half a size larger!
Founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka, Nippon's cult brand still inspires its wearers (inside!) And is an integral part of the street scene. In 1977 OT was renamed ASICS and the brand disappeared from the scene for a few years. In 2002 OT made the long-awaited comeback - this time as a sports fashion brand. Former competition shoes received a contemporary update and from then on were only sold in a fashionable context. What has remained is the excellent quality with an extremely comfortable fit. Retro vibes with a pinch of understatement - not shy of looking into the future!
